A Bit About Me

Hi!! My name is Mairin and I am so excited to be your pups new groomer! I've always been an animal lover, but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have worked with dogs for about 5 years and started in the daycare/boarding industry, where my love for pets grew exponentially. I loved nothing more than spending my days surrounded by dogs of all sizes and learning their personalities, taking care of them throughout the day and building bonds with all of them! It was a rewarding experience, but I felt a tug to want to do something more. And that's when my grooming journey began! I have been grooming for 3 years now and there's nothing I'm more passionate about than giving your fur baby the spa day they deserve! I believe in humanity over vanity and use a force free, gentle approach to make sure all my four legged clients are as comfortable and as safe as possible. I do my best to provide a stress free experience that leaves your pup wanting to come back for more! Unlike most groomers, I don't actually have a favorite breed to groom. I do, however, love a good deshed and welcome all the double coated breeds with open arms! The best part of my job is getting to know your dog. While some may be timid at first, it brings me such joy to watch them warm up and get more comfortable. Not only that, but I love how after a warm bath and fresh cut, they look like they feel brand new! Outside of work, you can find me at the dog park (shocking!) with my 9 year old lab mix, Dodger. I enjoy reading faith-based and self-help books, journaling, practicing calligraphy, all things outdoors, and cheering on the Columbus Blue Jackets! I am so grateful for this opportunity and I am looking forward to meeting you and becoming the best of friends with your fur babies!
